Terms of Service

Central Coin Laundry is a laundry pickup and delivery service operated by J&K Business LLC, 1036 Central Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Central Coin Laundry website and service (the “Service”). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

• Your mobile phone number is your account. We verify it with a one-time code each time you sign in; there is no password.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping the information on your account (name, address, contact details) accurate, and for all orders placed from it.

• Prices are shown at the time you place an order. The minimum order amount is displayed in the app before you check out.
• When you place an order we authorize your payment card for the estimated amount. The final charge is made once your items have been received and weighed or counted, and may differ from the estimate.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
• You may cancel an order at no charge until it has been picked up. Contact us to cancel after that point; a fee may apply for work already performed.

By providing your mobile phone number and tapping “Continue” on the sign-in screen you agree to receive a text message from Central Coin Laundry containing a one-time verification code.

• Frequency: one message per sign-in request. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. After opting out you will not be able to sign in by text; contact us to sign in another way.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email centralcoinlaundrykc@gmail.com.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The Service is available on major U.S. carriers.

• Please check pockets and remove anything that should not be washed. We are not responsible for items left in garments or for damage they cause.
• We follow care labels and standard commercial laundering practices. Some garments may be unsuitable for these processes; we may decline to clean an item.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to the amount you paid for the order in which it was included. Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it by any means other than the interface we provide. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the current version; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
